About this event

The State of Craft is a bi-weekly live conversation discussing the state of the legal craft cannabis industry presented by CertiCraft

It’s tough being in the legal cannabis market. Thankfully, regulators have promised several exciting policy changes expected to have a big impact on everyone from growers to budtenders. A lot of attention has been drawn to the upcoming Direct Delivery and Farm-gate programs. But will these changes really make a difference for the craft cannabis industry?

That's why we are overjoyed to host a panel of three cannabis retail and distribution experts to discuss real impact these programs will have on the craft cannabis landscape. Janeen Davis of Joint Venture Craft Cannabis, Colin Bambury of THC Canada, and Sydney Hayes of The Green Pineapple take the stage for Episode 19 of the State of Craft. This roundtable discussion will explore current trends and take a deep dive into BC's upcoming Direct Delivery program and its impact on the cannabis retail experience.

Though the Direct Delivery program has the potential to substantially improve the supply chain for craft producers, many small scale producers in BC are really concerned about how the BC LDB has approached the implementation of the Direct Delivery program. Is there truly cause for concern or should we have faith in the program? Our guests will discuss what they think about the program and the extent to which it will make things more viable for the craft industry.
