About this event

Join Roxanne and Jody as they discuss the meaning of NAIDOC Week, the importance of diversity in the workplace, leadership and how connection to country is everything.

Roxanne is a proud Biripi woman from Taree on the Mid-North Coast of NSW and works in HR for the Department of Planning, industry and Environment, she is committed to growing and developing public sector career pathways for Aboriginal and Torre Strait Islander employees within the department.

Jody is a Ualarai/Barkandji woman from Brewarrina NSW currently working within Aboriginal Education and Cultural Tourism with the Visitor Experience Branch with the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. She is also the Deputy Chair of the Aboriginal Culture & Heritage Network for DPIE with over 300 Aboriginal staff as members.

Together, they will share their personal and workplace experiences and talk about the importance of engaging with Aboriginal communities.
