Despite a contentious ending to his time at the company, Dr. Oliver was thrust to forefront of the craft cannabis Twitterverse and broadly hailed as the driving force behind the company's monumental turnaround.

Holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and with a list of publications and conference presentations as long as my arm, Dr. Earl Oliver is often the smartest person in the room.
Seeing the opportunity presented by the looming spectre of cannabis legalization, Dr. Oliver entered cannabis as an investor early on in 2015. By 2017, one of his portfolio companies was in trouble and Dr. Earl stepped in to turn things around. Under his stewardship, the company received its Health Canada license, established its distribution channels, and became one of the most sought after brands in the nascent space. Early in 2020, he was appointed as CEO.
A constant proponent of quality and consistency, Dr. Oliver is fighting the chronic oversupply of "ditch weed" in the legal system to put high quality, craft cannabis into the place of prestige that it deserves.
An outspoken commentator on the over regulation of the licensed cannabis industry and consistent debunker of the myriad false claims in the industry, we can't wait to see what Dr. Earl will do next!
