Analis invites you to their event

Webinar for current and future Sciex CE users - The analysis of oligonucleotides, RNA and DNA by Capillary Electrophoresis in Cell and Gene Therapy and vaccines

About this event

Steve Lock, the senior marketing & market development manager biopharma and capillary electrophoresis from Sciex will be presenting an update of what CE is capable of in the field of cell and gene therapy (CGT) as well as vaccine development.

Analis is distributing the Sciex CE products since 2014 and as both Belgium and Luxemburg are very active in the field of CGT and vaccine development, we believe below subject will be of great interest to our current CE user base, but also to anyone interested in what Sciex CE systems allow you to do for ...

The analysis of oligonucleotides, RNA and DNA by Capillary Electrophoresis in Cell and Gene Therapy and vaccines

Below abstract summarizes Steve’s talk:

The area of cell and gene therapy (CGT) research has rapidly increased in the last few years especially after the successful development of mRNA and viral vaccines to treat COVID. Capillary electrophoresis (CE) since its early days has been used for profiling RNA and DNA samples and is now seen as a useful tool for characterizing this class of drugs.

In this online seminar you will find out how CE can be used to control the purity of plasmids used in the manufacture of vaccines and CGT products. Listeners will also discover how methods can be adapted to profile both small oligonucleotides to larger mRNA molecules. Finally, you will discover how CE has been developed for viral vector ssDNA profiling and together with viral protein analysis has enabled scientists to calculate empty vs full ratio for their viral vectors.

So, if you want to learn more about any of these topics:

  • How to analyse vaccines and cell and gene therapy products:
  • Such as plasmids and mRNA purity … and
  • Viral vectors empty vs full ratios …
  • How to get results faster with Sciex’ new high-throughput solutions.
