The speaker
Dr Bryant strarted working life as a trainee telecoms technician in 1969 and has worked in a number of diverse fields in electronics since then. In 1986 ge was awarded a William Culross Prize for Scientific Research fir his PhD on Optimal Systems for Echo Location. The following year he began a career in GNSS. That included 18 years running SigNav Pty Ltd, a company he founded in 19994. Since 2011 Rod has been with u-blox AG where he is Head of Technology in the Positioning Product Center and responsible for GNSS-bases positioning research.
