The Madison Group invites you to their event

How Processing is Affecting Your Part Performance

About this event

Optimal performance of injection-molded parts requires decisions regarding material selection, mold design, and part design to be made holistically. However, the influence of manufacturing on performance is typically limited to weld line placement. This presentation highlights how manufacturing decisions will influence the short and long-term performance of the part.

The webinar series will focus on practical problem-solving techniques and will utilize case studies to illustrate key aspects of process troubleshooting. By attending this webinar participants will:

  • Better understand the role of processing on long-term and high-temperature performance.
  • Appreciate the role of wall thickness distribution on both the performance and aesthetics of molded parts.
  • Understand the importance of proper gate design and location to achieve the original design intent of a product.
  • Learn about driving factors for part warpage, and how to quickly identify the root cause.
