About this event
The picturesque hill towns of India are vulnerable to earthquake hazards, which may lead to extreme devastation in loss of life and assets. The behavior of buildings on hills are generally more dynamic and very different from the buildings on flatlands. Studies in various cities in hilly terrains have highlighted different factors which influence the structural performance of buildings on slopes in earthquake events.
This webinar intends to highlight the requirement in terms of building configurations, comparison of various vital building regulations, major problems encountered in building stocks and associated structural deficiencies on hill slopes.
Let’s deep dive!
The Seismic Academy, on behalf of Hilti, invites you to an exclusive webinar for the civil engineering professionals and construction industry experts.
