  Daniel Casellas Scientific Director @ Eurecat

  Dr Daniel Casellas did the PhD at UPC-Bcn Tech (5/2000), about the fatigue and fracture resistance of advanced ceramics. Since 2000 he is working in R&D and technology transfer from research institutes to industry. He is currently the Scientific Director of Eurecat and holds an Adjunct Professor position at the Solid Mechanics Division at Luleå University of Technology (Sweden). From 2006 to 2019 he was the Director of the Materials Technology at CTM and Eurecat (CTM and EURECAT merged at 2019). He is part-time lecturer at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, giving lectures in the Automotive grade.

  Joan Rifé is a Doctor in Chemical Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​having specialized in the synthesis of organic compounds. After going through the R + D + i department of S.A. ROBAMA, a Catalan company dedicated to the development of dyes and bleaching agents, made the leap into the field of passive fire protection with the help of Pinturas Valentine (CIN Group) to finally reach Pinturas HEMPEL.

  Jaume Josa Pons holds a PhD in Chemical Science (University of Barcelona, 1987). He joined Kao Corporation in 1989 as Analytical Scientist at the R+D facility in Barberà del Vallès (Barcelona). In 1991 Jaume joined Henkel Ibérica R+D, overseeing development of bleach products for laundry as well as for hard surface cleaning. Since 1998, moved to several locations holding management positions within the R&D: Pleasanton (CA, USA) to join The Clorox Company, Düsseldorf (Germany) in 2001 to join Henkel KG & Co. KGaA as Home Care R&D Director. In 2013 he joins Leitat Technological Center. Currently leading Environmental Innovation and Key Account Chemistry & Life Sciences BU / Fira Barcelona.
