About this event
How much do we actually know about our built assets and estates and what’s the best way to manage their performance outputs?
Over the past 12 months, conversations centred around the National Digital Twin, Smart Buildings, Net Zero, Golden Thread, Building Safety Act compliance and most recently the conundrum of attracting workers back to the office have all served to shine a spotlight on how much we actually know about our built assets and estates.
How well do they perform and support our daily operations and future planned needs? These conversations are prompting discussions on the digitalisation of estates to exploit the data and drive much-needed insights. But for many organisations, the magnitude of the challenge makes it difficult to contemplate starting.
This virtual panel discussion will provide some practical insights and approaches into how you should approach this and why it's important to start taking action now.
Head of Product for Glider, John Adams will be joined by a panel of digital construction experts who will share their own experiences of estate asset management, in particular how this is done at the Ministry of Defence.
In addition to the guidance from two key members of the UK BIM Alliance on information management requirements according to the ISO 19650 international standard.
