Annual support from donors is a crucial for your nonprofit yet it can often be overshadowed by flashy capital campaigns or giving days. In this panel we will be shifting focus back to this foundational piece of nonprofit fundraising and looking at how a nonprofit’s annual giving strategies should be different today than they were two, five, and ten years ago.
Julia is the partnerships manager at Double the Donation, the leading automated matching gift software provider. Through her role, Julia works with the top fundraising solutions to help nonprofits and educational institutions raise more revenue through employer matching gift programs.
Ellen Bristol launched Bristol Strategy in 1995, after a 20-year career selling mainframe computers for Fortune 50 companies. She considers herself a performance-management nerd and a geek for metrics. Or maybe the other way around. Her mission is to improve the success of nonprofit fundraising by adapting the most beneficial practices of high-performing sales team and their managers, to improve the performance of fundraising teams, including volunteers. She's known for her Leaky Bucket Assessment for Effective Fundraising, the only popular study of fundraising-team productivity in the sector.
Melissa is the VP of Marketing and Strategy at DipJar where she is responsible for building the company’s public outreach and brand relationships, including overseeing a growing social presence and sales partnership profile. She worked extensively with nonprofit organizations prior to joining the DipJar team. Through her work, Melissa has gained extensive knowledge of the nonprofit sector, experience that enables her to understand nonprofit organizations and their needs.
