Acoem invites you to their event

High frequency viscoelastic properties characterization with DMA

About this event

The measurement of materials viscoelastic properties at high frequency is required in many industrial applications: tires performances prediction and safety, noise and vibration reductions in mechanical engineering, acoustic design in vehicles, new challenges of electric vehicles, industrial process machinery, defense ships and submarines, sport goods…

Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) is a major technique for measuring viscoelastic properties:  easy to operate and giving precise and highly reproducible data.

But most of DMA instruments available on the market are limited to maximum experimental frequencies inferior to a few 10Hz.

Since its creation in 1969, and due to the historical strong connection between vibration and acoustic engineering and DMA instrument development, METRAVIB has been concerned in developing innovative solutions addressing the largest analysis frequency range possible.

Nowadays METRAVIB proposes a DMA instruments range with a singular ability to deal with a high frequency analysis domain.

The purpose of this webinar is to review the different possibilities to obtain high frequency viscoelastic properties with the various instruments of the METRAVIB catalogue.
