About this event
Based on the Theory of Sampling (TOS) webinar for Pharma presented earlier by ProcessControlExpert, this is a direct follow-up focusing on Process sampling: "How to extract representative samples from a moving stream of heterogeneous matter".
It is shown how there is a complete *duality* between sampling of stationary lots and of dynamic lot, as both are governed by the same Governing Principles (GP), Sampling Unit Operations (SUO) and identical rules for Sampling Error Management (SEM).
This webinar has a particular focus on the *sampling interface*, which is the critical success factor for application of PAT sensor technology, illustrated by selected examples and case histories. Also for process sampling, TOS is shown to be a necessary requirment for:
If you didn't follow the previous webinar on sampling in Pharma, please feel free to subscribe to the next session which would be held on by clicking here: "HOW TO GET A REPRESENTATIVE SAMPLE: SAMPLING SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY APPLIED TO PHARMA INDUSTRY"
This 60 minute webinar (10-15 min for Q&A) is presented by prof. Kim H. Esbensen, Ph.D., Dr. (h.c.), Denmark. Participants receive a comprehensive introductionary documentation (1,2,3), also allowing deeper self-education (4):
1. "Before reliable near infrared analysis - the critical sampling proviso. Part 1. Generalised Theory of Sampling (TOS)"
2. "Before reliable near infrared spectroscopic analysis - the critical sampling proviso. Part 2: Particular requirements for near infrared spectroscopy"
3. "The sampling interface - a critical success factor in PAT and process monitoring" (Esbensen & Sivalingam)
4. "Pierre Gy’s development of the Theory of Sampling: a retrospective summary -with a didactic tutorial on quantitative sampling of one-dimensional lots" (Minnitt & Esbensen)
