Every company has one (or two!)…the eternal pessimist who has a true gift for extracting the worst from even the best situations. Going to the Bahamas next week, you’ll be sure to hear about the unseasonably cold weather the Bahamas got this time three hundred years ago, so pack a sweater. Landed a big account, and you’ll hear how Phil just lost his commission on a similar sale because the customer backed out at the last minute. Yep, they also complain regularly about the most insignificant issues (We ran out of Sweet and Low last week) and amazingly enough, they never offer solutions.
