  Elena is an Associate in our Employment & Immigration team. Elena joined the firm in January 2026, having trained in-house in the police and practiced in another Cardiff firm. Elena has a wealth of experience dealing with employment tribunal matters, particularly with public sector clients, ranging from unfair dismissal to discrimination claims. Elena advises clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters, both in the public and private sector. She advises on employer and employee disputes, leading up to and including tribunal hearings. She also advises on employee exits and settlement agreements and COT3 agreements. Elena is a fluent Welsh speaker and is happy to offer advice in both Welsh and English.

  David Lewis Partner | Employment & Immigration @ Capital Law

  David is a Partner in our Employment and Immigration Team, who advises on both contentious and non-contentious issues. He provides commercially focussed guidance to companies, charities and professional sports clubs on all aspects of employment law and human resource issues. He has extensive experience in contentious matters, including discrimination, whistleblowing and all forms of tribunal litigation. His clients come from sectors ranging from industrial manufacturing, retail, and IT/technology. In addition to acting for businesses, David also advises senior executives on board level disputes and company exit strategy. As well as employment law, David also specialises in sports law, working with clubs, professional athletes, coaches and management on matters particular to professional sport. David regularly provides national newspaper and radio commentary on topical employment and sporting issues.
