Financial Literacy at Work: Are UK Businesses Doing Enough?

About this event

In today’s climate, financial stress is one of the biggest barriers to employee wellbeing and productivity. So when it comes to financial literacy, we’re asking: are UK businesses doing enough to help their teams?

In what promises to be an insightful and actionable webinar, we’ll explore insights from our 2025 Financial Literacy in the Workplace report, alongside some of the brightest minds in the financial literacy space. They’ll be sharing practical frameworks, and provide tools to help you get your people up to speed on those essential money matters. This is especially important for younger workers, whom our report revealed are struggling the most with financial literacy.

Whether it’s pensions, simplifying questions about pay, or long-term financial planning, our panel will help you make financial education more accessible, inclusive, and impactful. Sign up for the webinar below.

On the panel:

Luke O’Mahoney, Founder, SapienX - Event Moderator

A former Head of People, Luke created Sapienˣ as the ultimate PX platform for People people who think like Product people. Through Sapienˣ, Luke creates content, courses & community for the post-HR generation.

As a big believer in the power of working with other departments to help improve the financial literacy of employees, Luke will be discussing how People teams can collaborate with product and marketing functions to turbocharge their financial education efforts, and the rewards that this can reap.

Rhiannon Byers, Head of Workplace & Community Programmes, The Money Charity

Rhiannon is Director of Workplace & Community Programmes at the Money Charity, the UK's Financial Wellbeing charity. There she oversees the delivery of a variety of projects and programmes ranging from app-based interventions to face-to-face workshops, reaching thousands of adults from all backgrounds every year with impartial, impactful and empowering financial education and training.

Rhiannon’s input on the importance of clear communication around pay and benefits, and getting employees more confident in talking about money, will be invaluable for those attending the webinar.
