About this event
Are you a startup founder looking to join Y Combinator? Come join our live session to get some practical insights that could boost your YC application application process as an African startup.
During this one-hour event, Nubi Kay, Paystack Startup Programs Lead, will engage in discussions with four startup founders who were accepted to YC within the past two years (two of whom are Paystack alumni ✨). They will share what their application process was like, what you should optimise for, and the pitfalls to avoid.
Following their opening conversations, we will hold a 20-minute Q&A session to answer all your questions. We hope you come prepared 😉
3:00 - 3:10 PM: Introduction
3:11 - 3:40 PM: Discussion with startup founders
3:41 - 4:00 PM: Q&A session
If you can't attend, register anyway. We'll send you a recording of the session after it ends.
Y Combinator is a startup fund based in Mountain View, CA. Twice a year YC invests a small amount of money in a large number of startups. The YC partners work closely with each company to get them into the best possible shape and refine their pitch to investors. Each batch culminates in Demo Day when the startups present their companies to a carefully selected audience of investors. Y Combinator has invested in over 4,000 companies including Stripe, Airbnb, Instacart, Dropbox, Reddit, Coinbase, and Ginkgo Bioworks. The combined valuation of YC companies is over $600B.
Please note that RSVPs to this webinar will be added to the Paystack community email newsletter, where you'll receive occasional updates from Paystack. If you'd prefer to not receive future updates from Paystack, you'll be able to unsubscribe immediately.
