As an Integrative Family Physician from Brooklyn, Stephen has practised medicine across many cultures. From the Umbanda terreiros in the heart of Brazil’s second-largest slum, to Maori clinics in New Zealand, the native healers of Palau, and as a hospitalist to the Navajo (Dine) Tribe in Chinle, Dr Dahmer has experienced firsthand the rich tapestry and enduring relationship of plants and people.
