About this event
Don't miss this conversation with our panel of women developers at Pixar's RenderMan, hosted by Pixar Recruiting.
Lucy has worked as a software engineer in the VFX industry for 15 years. She joined Foundry in 2005 and worked on a number of commercial products including Foundry’s flagship compositing software, Nuke. In 2019 she moved to DNEG to lead the Fur R&D team, before joining Pixar in May 2020.
Trina has been a graphics geek since the early days of flying logos, writing software for both Animation and VFX on films from "Shrek" to "Inception". Her first SIGGRAPH was in 1992, and now she mentors younger generations encouraging young women and girls to get involved in STEM careers.
Sarah joined Pixar Animation Studios in 2018 as the lead developer for the RenderMan for Houdini plugin. Prior to Pixar, Sarah studied at Cornell University and University of Pennsylvania.
Sarah started at Pixar's RenderMan in 2015. She primarily works on the RenderMan for Katana bridge. What she misses most during WFH is the endless supply of Milano cookies in the RenderMan kitchen.
Susan is an Engineering Manager for the RenderMan Studio Support team at Pixar Animation Studios as of March 2020. In her prior career at Pixar, she was an engineering lead on Pixar's Studio Tools team. She’s excited to contribute to RenderMan’s tradition of enabling artists to create new worlds.
Pixar Animation Studios is an American computer animation studio based in Emeryville, California, a subsidiary of Walt Disney Studios.
