About this event
Presented by Mott MacDonald and Univers in partnership with Port Technology International.
Description
This FREE webinar is the second in a 3-part series on Enabling Green Ports. In this webinar, we will explore how to accurately account for carbon emissions.
Accurately accounting for carbon emissions is critical to becoming a green port. To effectively reduce your carbon footprint, you need to audit energy consumption and identify areas for improvement.
Collecting and analyzing data on energy use across your facilities and operations requires practical monitoring systems, data management processes, and carbon accounting tools. Once a baseline is established, a route map can be drawn up to decarbonise your operations in the most cost-effective way. Support can be given to build capability and capacity where needed, as well as to track and report emissions reductions.
This webinar will cover actionable steps and best practices to achieve lower carbon emissions:
1) Audit emissions to establish a baseline
2) Develop a detailed understanding of energy use
3) Develop and implement an energy and carbon reduction strategy
4) Monitor and report emissions
Webinar Format
This webinar will be a 60-minute speaker presentation and discussion with Q&A.
The webinar will be available to watch On-Demand for those unable to attend the live event.
