Port Technology International invites you to their event

Port Community System as a Service: Transforming Ports

About this event

Presented by Hexagon Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial in partnership with Port Technology International

Description

Digitalization is an essential part of current and future developments in the maritime sector, especially when it comes to optimizing port operations. A Port Community System (PCS) – an open electronic platform that connects multiple systems operated by organizations that make up a port community – enables the intelligent and secure exchange of information between public and private stakeholders including harbor masters, pusher tugboat operators, pilots and logistics companies.

In this FREE webinar, learn about PCS as a service, and how it addresses challenges faced by small- and medium-sized ports that lack IT support and rely heavily on manual communication and synchronization processes. With it, port administrators and other stakeholders can redefine efficiency; harness the power of real-time collaboration, actionable analytics and unmatched scalability; and seamlessly navigate regulatory compliance.

Marine Fields CEO and BM Bergmann Marine GmbH Managing Director Mr. Michael Bergmann, along with Hexagon’s Dr. Uwe Jasnoch, will discuss:

  • Requirements for a future-ready PCS
  • Benefits for small and medium ports
  • Advantages of PCS as a service over a standard PCS
