Ananda Goswami:
Ananda Goswami is Senior Vice President of VertexOne Retail. Previously Ananda previously served as the Chief Revenue Officer at EC Infosystems (acquired by VertexOne), a software service provider to the Energy Industry. Ananda leads activities related to VertexOne Retail marketing and new business initiatives, alliances, public relations, corporate image, mergers and acquisitions.
With over 20 years of experience in the retail energy industry in business-to-business development, Ananda leads the team whose primary focus is on expanding VertexOne Retails product functionality and client base. Ananda is responsible for aligning company resources, defining differentiated go-to-market strategies and delivering on the company’s revenue performance goals.
Ananda works closely with top management in defining, attracting, hiring and retaining talent and building a performance driven companywide culture. Ananda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Technology from Baruch College (CUNY). Ananda provides thought leadership as a panelist and moderator at various industry forums. Ananda serves as Board Member of Energy Marketing Conference (EMC) for Retailers.
Ian Palao
Mr. Ian M. Palao serves as the Vice President of Strategic Energy Services for POWWR where he advises retail clients on a variety of risk matters including commodity, pricing, and swing risk. He specializes in commodity risk management and the science of meteorology / climatology and has been a POWWR employee since 2012. He has 20+ years of experience in the energy/utility industry where he has used his skills and knowledge of financial risk management, meteorology, and advanced statistics. From 2000 through 2011, he worked at TXU Energy Trading/Luminant Energy in Dallas where he served in three capacities, Capital/Liquidity Manager of the trading portfolio (electricity, NG), Manager of the Weather Derivatives trading desk, and Manager of the Quantitative Risk Group. His primary tasks in all three roles were to assist the company in maintaining P&L and the identification, quantification, and remediation of financial risks inherent in the company’s multi-commodity trading portfolio.
In his first foray into energy/utilities, Mr. Palao was a Marketing Executive with Louisiana Gas Service Company, a local distribution company, where he primarily marketed natural gas technology to commercial and industrial customers. Before that, he served as a Research Scientist under contract to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Mr. Palao has an M.B.A. from Tulane University. He also has both an MS and BS in Meteorology from Florida State University.
Jonathan Clites
Jonathan Clites is a partner in Capco’s Houston office and currently leads Capco’s Retail and Wholesale Energy Practice. Over the last 20+ years at Capco, he has focused on large-scale technology and business transformation projects for a wide variety of clients in retail, wholesale, energy trading, and utilities. Jonathan has a foundation in custom-developed software, a deep technology background, and has worked in virtually all areas of the retail energy business. He holds a bachelor's degree in MIS from Texas A&M University, an MBA from the University of Texas, and has numerous industry/technical certifications.

I am an energy professional with 25+ years experience. I am currently a Risk Manager / Success Manager for POWWR, for whom I have worked since 2012. I am also a trained Climatologist, with an undergrad and graduate degrees in Meteorology from Florida State University.
