Orta began manufacturing denim in 1985 and operates with 1000+ employees in Turkey . At the start of 2000, they began their sustainability journey by using organic cotton. In 2010, they founded their sustainable division Orta Blu, and are making a bold commitment to be a leader in transforming the denim industry through the use of the most advanced natural technologies. As a matter of fact, each fabric is made using the INDIGO FLOW process (70% reduction in water use, better dye penetration, energy savings) and each and every Orta garment is labelled with a unique QR code, providing full transparency as to the making of the fabrics, to measure its environmental impact.
Distinctions: acquired the 3rd party Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for 4 products
