Press Ganey invites you to their event

Supporting Resiliency Through Effective Communication Skills

About this event

Join us on Thursday, June 16, from 1 to 2 p.m. ET, for our fourth session of the 2022 Workforce Well-Being Collaborative learning series.

Have you ever had an experience at work where a breakdown in communication made a stressful situation even harder, or where you felt like you weren’t sure how to respond? Effective communication is an important skill in any capacity, but it is a critical tool for supporting the well-being and safety of both employees and the patients they care for.

During this session we will highlight the Mayo Clinic’s Experience Model of Communication to learn about tactical strategies for building and encouraging resilient communication skills.

We will discuss:

  • How the Mayo Clinic Experience Model of Communication assists staff in resilient communication skills.
  • Mayo Clinic strategies in supporting staff resiliency and the patient experience.
  • The communication skills required for maintaining a safe and inclusive environment in high stress scenarios.
