About this event

Join ReadSpeaker experts and special guest speaker, Dr Sambhavi Chandrashekar, Global Accessibility Lead for D2L, in this webinar to explore how text-to-speech and associated accessibility features integrated into a learning environment can support inclusive learning delivery in alignment with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles.

UDL is a framework developed by CAST, a partner of ReadSpeaker, to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all based on the principles of Engagement, Representation, and Action & Expression. UDL helps create inclusive learning environments that reduce barriers to learning, enabling learners with disabilities to engage in rigorous, meaningful learning.

By attending this webinar, you will:

  • Gain an understanding of the three principles of UDL and how they can be applied to create inclusive learning environments.
  • Learn how text-to-speech and associated accessibility features can be used to support students with different learning needs.
  • See a live demo on how these easy-to-implement accessibility features work in an LMS

Dr. Chandrashekar and the ReadSpeaker team will deliver an insightful discussion on why UDL is so important and how committing to accessibility can help you deliver more engaging and accessible learning experiences for all learners.

Stay tuned for a live demonstration of ReadSpeaker tools within an LMS and a Q&A session with ReadSpeaker's technical experts.
