Library Web Design Series // Part Three: Google Analytics and Information Architecture

About this event

Skill Level: Intermediate

Series: Using data to improve your website (3 of 4 Part Series)

If you've dipped your toe in Google Analytics, then you know how easy it is to get lost in the data. In this webinar, we'll walk you through the most important website metrics to track and how to use them to improve your library's website.

During this workshop, we'll cover:

  • How to access and use audience data
  • How to evaluate content and pages to determine what should stay and what should go
  • Pin-pointing usability issues
  • Segmenting data
  • Creating and tracking goals
  • How to use the data to improve your website.

After the workshop, we'll share the following tools with all participants:

1) Information Architecture Planning Worksheet

Use this worksheet in conjunction with Google Analytics to determine which pages you should keep, delete, or update.
