Rethink TV is refreshing its CDN forecasts, and this year, Open Caching is the technology that has set the industry abuzz. Following previous examinations of WebRTC and Decentralized CDN, it looks like Open Caching is better placed to disrupt the CDN vendors, but negotiating interoperability contracts with the content providers could still prove challenging.
