The past decade or so has seen Social Media platforms completely transform from communication tools, with sprinklings of entertainment, into fully-fledged entertainment hubs. This transition is still in its early days, meaning that Social Media is a key player in the power vacuum that is following the decline of Pay TV where, too often, the SVoD, AVoD and FAST branches of Long-form OTT are considered to be the only contenders.
