This training reviews the Oregon OSHA employer requirements for the identification of hazards. We will discuss the type of potential hazards found in the workplace, along with the hierarchy of controls and how to use them to resolve or reduce hazards.

Lisa Masters is the Senior Risk Management Consultant for the eastern Oregon region and has been employed with CIS for 19 years. She has over 35 years of experience working for/with public entities and 28 years working in safety, workers’ compensation, risk management, and the insurance industries. Her work experience includes working in the risk management, assigned risk underwriting, and Service Center underwriting departments at SAIF Corporation, as a Loss Control Consultant at the ESD 112 in Southwest Washington, as the Risk Manager of Jackson County, and the Personnel/Safety Manager for Southern Oregon Head Start. Lisa’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University in Business Management and an Associate in Risk Management designation
