In the construction industry, minor lapses can lead to tragic outcomes. Serious injuries and fatalities (SIFs) can have a significant impact on project operations and can devastate families, coworkers, and entire crews. This 90-minute webinar goes beyond basic regulatory compliance to equip safety leaders, site managers, and construction professionals with actionable, field-tested strategies to identify, control, and eliminate life-threatening risks on the job site.
We will review OSHA's "Fatal Four," also known as the "Focus Four" hazards: Falls, Struck-By, Caught-In/Between, and Electrocution. These hazards account for more than 60% of construction-related fatalities. Participants will learn how to identify SIF precursors before an incident occurs and how applying the Hierarchy of Controls can help design safety into the pre-job planning process, rather than relying on reactive measures in the field.
