Wayne is a shareholder and co-chair of the firm’s Trusts and Estates group, and is also part of the Business and Corporate, Tax and Tax Controversy, and Senior Care groups. With over 40 years of experience as an attorney, Wayne has worked in business law as well as estate and tax planning, corporate law, elder law, Orphan’s Court litigation and more. He often lectures to small and large groups on wealth preservation, retirement, tax planning and other business topics. He is a certified public accountant, helping him uniquely understand his clients’ financial needs as well as their legal needs. Wayne holds an L.L.M. in taxation from Georgetown University.
Doug Marcello is an attorney in Saxton & Stump's Trucking and Commercial Transportation Group, defending trucking companies in both central PA and throughout the country. A trial counsel in 35 different states, Doug handles all aspects of the trucking industry’s legal needs, from immediately responding to accidents to working with businesses to mitigate risk and litigating cases through a jury trial. Doug has a commercial driver’s license (CDL), giving him insight into the challenges of operating a tractor-trailers. Doug is a champion for the trucking industry’s safety and growth, holding leadership roles with trade agencies dedicated to driver safety. He is a longtime member of the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association (PMTA) and sits on its board of directors. Doug is also a member of the American Trucking Associations, serving on committees that emphasize safety in trucking. He also contributes frequently to industry publications on important legal topics in the trucking sector.
