Zach Shapiro serves as Vice President of Data Strategy & Analytics for the NBA. In this role, Shapiro is responsible for enterprise reporting across all areas of the league’s business, including ticket sales and partnerships. He also works closely with the Strategy & Analytics departments of all 30 NBA teams, sharing best practices and offering analytical support. Additionally, Shapiro leads various initiatives focused on growing the league’s fanbase by using data analysis and technology to create more personalized experiences for fans.
Vincent has more than 15 years of leadership experience with some of the sports and entertainment industry’s largest brands. He has designed, built, and led high-performing organizations that use technology and data-driven decision-making to generate outsized results. Vince’s passionate belief that the tools did not exist to understand and engage today’s sports fans led him to co-found StellarAlgo in 2016. He is energized by the progress since then, and especially loves seeing the passion of his StellarAlgo teammates. Prior to founding StellarAlgo, he built and led customer data strategy teams at the LA Kings and AEG Sports before joining the Portland Trail Blazers and Rose Quarter Entertainment as SVP of Business Operations.
As the NHL’s Senior Vice President of Fan Engagement, Analytics & Research, Curran Raclin serves as the head of the NHL’s fan engagement (CRM) and analytics practice entitled BLADE, leveraging consumer insights, fan and ticketing data analytics and database management to fuel innovative marketing and sales strategies, drive marketing effectiveness and gain an in-depth understanding of the behavior and trends of fans of the NHL and its 32 Member Clubs. With his more than 15 years of experience and expertise in business and customer intelligence, data strategy and reporting, Raclin will ultimately help transform how the NHL attracts, activates, communicates, celebrates and grows its fans into loyal customers.
