Pete Nicoletti has over 30 years of security, network and MSSP experience. In his current role as Americas CISO at Check Point Software Technologies, Mr. Nicoletti consults with C-levels and BoDs on optimizing security programs. Previously he served as a hands-on CISO for Hertz Global, Virtustream and Cybraics Defense, an AI/ML analytics DARPA-funded project. Before that, Mr. Nicoletti started the MSSP, security consulting, and pen/vulnerability testing teams as VP of security engineering at Terremark and successfully guided the services migration in the Verizon purchase. He received global top one and two recognition by Gartner for his cloud security deployments and designs and contributed to secure cloud reference designs as published in Intel Press. He is a founder, leader, board member and advisor for numerous security groups, including the ISSA where he served as a former chapter president.
