This session aims to explore the role of international cooperation in global health crisis management while specifically addressing the importance of the future of Environmental Science Diplomacy.
Looking closely into the pandemic impact and our collective ability to tackle the climate emergency, it will cover the links between research, health policy, and international relations, as well as its socio-economic and ethical dimensions. It will also analyze policy decision-making in the context of complex, multilevel governance and make a case for the role of scientific knowledge in solving traditional collective action dilemmas.
