About this event
Scope Ratings auto-sector analyst Werner Stäblein will present his credit outlook for the auto industry in the year ahead.
Europe’s automotive sector has felt the full force of the Covid-19 pandemic as sales have plummeted but in the world’s other major markets, the slump in demand turned out to be less dire than expected, with some signs of a strong rebound. Scope Ratings’ sector specialist Werner Stäblein looks at the experience of the pandemic – from the important role played by government subsidies and growth in demand for electrified vehicles – and prospects for a strong rebound in demand that will determine the credit outlook in 2021.
