Green bonds – do they deserve a premium? Find out with NNIP’s Scope-rated investment team

Scope Analysis’s Barbara Claus, Director for Mutual Funds Analysis, and NNIP’s Bram Bos, Co-lead Portfolio Manager, will host a two-part webinar on the fast-growing green bond segment on 25 January.

Scope has given NNIP´ green bond fund-management team a Team Rating. Claus will give her insight into Scope´s assessment of the four main rating panels - Investment Professionals, Process and Research, Market Position and Performance as well as Additional Resources – plus an overview of the main drivers for the rating decision. She will focus on the key points investors should consider when selecting a green bond fund.

 In the second part of the webinar, NNIP’s Bos will analyse latest developments in the green bond segment, showing how active investing helps avoid greenwashing and asking whether investors have to pay a "sustainability premium" in the form of lower returns compared with traditional bonds. He will take questions from the audience.
