Elissa leads the Inhabit team in Melbourne, specialising in new build facade design, engineering, diagnostics, and ESD and acoustics. With a strong background in architecture and construction management, she is recognised for delivering high-profile projects across Victoria. Elissa excels in project management, commercial acumen, and collaborative teamwork, particularly in facade waterproofing and the integration of structural, mechanical, and environmental factors in design. As Vice Chair of the Society of Facade Engineering ANZ Hub, she advocates for advancing the profession, drawing on her extensive knowledge of local and international facade markets.
Nick began his career as a structural engineer with Connell Wagner in 2004 and shifted towards designing special structures, glass, and facade systems during his time with Dewhurst Macfarlane in New York. Since 2011, he has worked as a facade specialist with Arup, currently serving as the Building Envelope (facade) skills leader for Arup’s Australasia region. Passionate about sustainability, Nick is committed to contributing to a better built environment through high-quality design and a rigorous, “first principles” approach that challenges conventional thinking.
Jesse Clarke has more than 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. He holds the technical lead role of the Innovation and R&D Manager, servicing Australia and New Zealand. Jesse is an active advocate for a holistic approach to the development of industry guidance, standards and codes. As the chairman of the AIRAH special technical group for building envelope physics he is driving standardisation around the use of hygrothermal analysis (WUFI®) for healthier and more durable buildings.
