About this event
New year, new speakers, new topics, same concept: Open the virtual door to our international alumni community, exchange ideas, evaluate the good, the bad and the ugly, challenge the status quo, and share lessons learned.
This time we welcome Alumnus Koen Hendrix from Zendesk, global leader in customer service and engagement software solutions headquartered in San Francisco. The session is moderated by Jean-Philippe Boever, Founder at GridCop, former Associate Professor at the University of Luxembourg, and a well sought after Host and Master of Ceremonies of major ICT Events.

Security at Scale in an Agile organization
Koen Hendrix is Senior Security Engineering Manager at Zendesk, where he built the EMEA Product Security team. Prior to that, he was the delivery Lead on the Information Security organization and its Application Security- and Security Operations teams at Riot Games.
Koen will share his experiences at both Zendesk and previous organizations, which all operate to some extent in an agile environment. As a result, change moves very quickly from idea to implementation. As a Security team you will need to change your approach in how you support or steer those changes. We will review what a Security mindset in these organizations looks like, and what kind of programs are effective and ineffective in these situations.
Security Leaders looking to learn more about building effective security programs in fast-moving and/or agile organizations. Engineering teams, (agile) development teams, CTO’s, CIO’s eager to learn more about security best practices while delivering on agility required by business and IT.
