Stephanie Horne became the Director of Risk Management & Safety at First Watch in June 2021. Before this role, she was part of the risk management team at Bloomin Brands starting in 2015, where she managed the insurance program for over 1,000 domestic restaurants and more than 100 company-owned restaurants in Brazil. Stephanie began her career at a TPA, working with various municipalities and school boards, which sparked her passion for risk management. She earned her bachelor’s degree from University of South Florida and has been a member of the USF Risk Management and Insurance Advisory Board since 2021. Stephanie maintains her 2-20 agent license, ARM and is currently pursuing her CPCU designation.
Richard Brown is a Partner at Saxe Doernberger & Vita, P.C. and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. For the last decade, his national litigation practice has been dedicated to representing commercial policyholders facing insurance coverage disputes, primarily in the construction, real estate, and power and energy industries. Rich has recovered millions of dollars for policyholder clients under various types of insurance policies, including Commercial Property, Builders Risk, Owners’/Contractors’ Professional & Protective, Directors & Officers, Marine, and Cyber-Risk policies. Rich’s extensive legal experience is further sharpened by his prior business experience and education. He is often called upon to advise on the impact of current developments in legislation and case law affecting insurance coverage and risk transfer, and regularly publishes articles and industry guidance surrounding novel insurance coverage issues.
Prior to joining Sigma7 Paragon, Raphael was Senior Loss Prevention Consultant with Industrial Risk Insurers HDI and previously AXA Matrix Risk consultants where he was responsible for conducting account engineering services and coordination to the insured by HDI and previously AXA MATRIX. Raphaël was also the account manager of all branches of activities of one of the TOP10 clients at HDI (including business development for Underwriting all branches). Raphaël consulted with the management of various CAC40 French companies on risk management improvement and loss prevention and control measures.
Bill Warren, CPA, CGMA, is a co-founder and partner of Sigma7's forensic accounting practice, formerly RWH Myers. Bill specializes in the quantification of complex business interruption risks and claims for policyholders, as well as the preparation of other claims related to extra expense, builders risk, employee fidelity & crime losses, patent infringements, third-party liability claims, and other commercial disputes that involve a loss of earnings or excess cost. He supports organizations during first- and third-party insurance claims and catastrophe funding pools, as well as providing litigation support and expert witness testimony for matters that reach appraisal, mediation, arbitration and/or litigation. Bill has worked on behalf of for-profit, non-profit and public entities throughout the Americas and Europe, across a diverse range of industries.
