About this event

Douglas County Early Childhood Council (DCECC) and Small Business Majority invite you to join us for a FREE workshop to learn about access to capital for small businesses and the self-employed. Through a presentation and interactive discussion, we will help you navigate the funding landscape and connect you with resources to help you obtain the capital you need to start and/or grow your business. 

Topics of discussion include:

  • An overview of alternative lending options including community banks and credit unions, SBAs loan guarantee program, community development financial institutions, and reputable online lenders
  • An overview of Covid-19 funding streams including PPP, EIDL, and new state grant and loan programs
  • Key questions to consider when seeking funding
  • Helpful tools and resources

    Sandra Gregory has served as the DCECC Director since 2008. She acts as the liaison for the community, state, and early childhood partnerships. Sandra has a BA in Communications, MS in Health Administration and experience in marketing, community relations, fundraising, and nonprofit management.

    Angela Rosales has worked on behalf of communities in her licensed family childcare home for almost 30 years. She currently supports and advocates for peers, as president of Douglas County Child Care Association and as a legislative committee member of Colorado Association of Family Child Care.
