Small Business Majority invites you to their event

PPP, EIDL and Critical COVID-19 Resources for Georgia Small Business Owners

About this event

Small business owners impacted by the spread of COVID-19 may now apply for financing through two programs: the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Emergency Injury Disaster Relief Loans (EIDL). We know many small businesses need help navigating these loan programs and the application process during this difficult time.

Join Small Business Majority, the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute (GBPI) and the Urban League of Greater Atlanta (ULGA) for a free webinar to learn more about these programs, how to apply for EIDL and PPP loans and other resources that Georgia small business owners can take advantage of right now.

Topics of discussion include:

  • Updates to the Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) and Paycheck Protection Payment (PPP) loans and how to apply
  • An overview of alternative lending options including SBA's loan guarantee program, CDFIs, reputable online lenders and crowdfunding
  • How to avoid predatory lenders
  • Venturize and other helpful tools and resources
  • Discussion of what state policies Georgia can enact to foster economic recovery for small businesses
  • Opportunities to urge lawmakers to pass a robust small business bailout
