The Great Comms Debate 2

About this webinar

A few months ago, in The Great Comms Debate, we heard that IC is where marketing was roughly 25 years ago. While there is a common understanding that IC is important, the strategies and plans to effectively engage employees through internal communications are still lacking. In fact, recent research shows that:

“60% of companies don’t have a long-term plan for their internal communications.”

Gallagher & Co.

Because there are still a bunch of open issues to discuss, we at Smarp are bringing you THE COMMS DEBATE 2 on January 28th at 10 am ET! For this session, we are pleased to host three seasoned IC experts to debate everything IC. Our three experts are:

  • Jennifer Sproul, Chief Executive @ Institute of Internal Communication
  • Advita Patel, Director @ Comms Rebel
  • Brad Whitworth, Senior Communications Manager @ Hitachi Vantara

Just like with the previous Comms Debate, we’re going with an ‘Agree or Disagree’ format. We’ll pose the statement and the experts will talk it out until we get some answers.

💡 Whether you’re new to communications or a seasoned veteran, this session should give you plenty of insights to take back with you as you work towards elevating IC in your organization. Some of the topics we will be covering include:

  • Measuring internal communications
  • The role of middle managers in cascading internal comms throughout the company
  • The role of company culture in communications
  • Informal vs formal internal communications

❓ We’re also reserving some time at the end where you get to pose your own questions and statements for the experts to iron out.

📅 Date: Tuesday, January 28th

🕐 Time: 10 am ET | 5 pm EET

⏺️ Save your seat even if you can’t attend the live webinar. All the registrants will get the webinar recording.

See you at the debate! 👋
