    John Cerveny NY-BEST @ Senior Director

    John Cerveny is the Senior Director for NY-BEST where he has led efforts to make connections between and among members, funding opportunities and the community at large since joining NY-BEST shortly after it launched in 2011. He currently manages the Supply Chain development program for the New Energy New York program, a $113 million effort jointly funded by the US EDA and New York’s Empire State Development to position New York State as a leader in batteries and energy storage. As an engineer, Cerveny understands technologies that enable products in the cleantech space. As an entrepreneur, he has worked to commercialize promising clean energy technologies to build profitable businesses with successful products. Cerveny previously held senior management positions at several leading cleantech companies and holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

    Stacey Duncan CEO @ The Leadership Alliance

    Stacey Duncan is the CEO of the Leadership Alliance, a strategic partnership between the Broome County Industrial Development Agency/Local Development Corporation & the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce. In this role, Stacey serves as the chief executive of both organizations, directing the organizations’ efforts to pursue economic and community development projects for the benefit of all residents of Broome County. This includes the implementation of the organization's strategic plan, business retention and expansion efforts, talent attraction, and the pursuit of new and innovative initiatives to enhance business development in Broome County, NY. Since taking on her role in 2019, Stacey has championed more than $1.5 billion in new investments through exciting projects such as the Oakdale Commons Redevelopment, Bluestone Wind Farm, United Health Services Wilson Campus Expansion, and the revitalization of the award-winning Endicott-Johnson Victory Building.
