About this event
Utility-scale solar is evolving, shaped by higher power modules and demand for increasingly lower levelised cost of electricity (LCOE). Those trends are also changing project requirements elsewhere, with inverters capable of delivering high power density and power capacity in strong demand.
In this webinar, FIMER will detail how its innovative high-power, multi-MPPT string inverter and modular conversion solution can both meet those demands and transform the utility-scale solar sector for the better.
Join FIMER to learn how you can achieve record high power density and power capacity, double that of any other inverter in this category available on the market and drive a 2.3% reduction on the LCOE of a modular conversion architecture compared to a central solution, with higher system availability, above 99.9 percent when compared to central solutions.
FIMER’s new PVS-350 is the most powerful and power dense multi-MPPT string inverter in the solar industry (350 kVA); optimised for decentralised PV system architectures with a maximum energy yield of ɳMAX > 99 percent. It also has the smallest footprint when compared to other similar products, and significantly reduces the risk of downtime that can occur with central inverters.
For centralised system architectures – which currently account for almost 40% of the market – FIMER has also launched PVS-260/PVS-300, a fully-modular solution engineered with a single-MPPT string platform.
This can easily replace central inverters in more traditional designs, significantly improving performance and achieving a 2.3% reduction on the LCOE of a modular conversion architecture compared to a central solution. It also has higher system availability, above 99.9 percent compared to 99.5 percent maximum from central solutions. It also provides lower O&M efforts, typically €0.1 – 0.3c/W less than central solution over 25 years.
