LONGi Solar launches next generation Hi-MO 5 module series

About this webinar

LONGi Solar has introduced its next-generation Hi-MO 5 Series modules for utility-scale PV power plants.

This PV Tech TechTalk Product Series webinar is designed to provide an overview of this new module that has 540Wp performance with gallium-doped, newly defined M10 (182mm x 182mm) wafers, half-cut monocrystalline PERC (Passivated Emitter Rear Cell) cells and 9BB (busbar) ‘Smart Soldering’ cell interconnect technology.

Webinar Learning Points:

  • Gain knowledge on gallium-doped technology and how it can decrease the LID (Light induced degradation) in a P-type PERC module, contributing to stable long-term power generation
  • Understand how “Smart soldering” technology improves packing density, reliability and conversion efficiency
  • Learn why the 66 cell format of the ultra-high power Hi-MO 5 is designed to be compatible with main tracking systems, allowing installation angle to avoid shadows
  • Learn how to reduce BOS costs and achieve the lowest LCOE for your PV plant, ensuring inverter compatibility
