About this event
The utility-scale PV power plant sector is undergoing technological change at a hitherto unprecedented pace. Large-format PV modules with next-generation monocrystalline PERC (Passivated Emitter Rear Cell) technology and new module packaging technologies are driving performance above 600W and guaranteeing lower project LCOE (Levelized Cost of electricity).
Adoption of these large-format modules in a bifacial configuration provides further scope to boost plant performance and further lower LCOE.
A new generation of advanced dual row trackers is therefore needed to optimise plant performance, reliability and safety, while catering for a growing requirement for projects to be built on non-optimal topography, minimising risks, reducing LCOE and retaining optimum long-term project performance.
With the recently realigned TrinaTracker business unit, Trina Solar is partnering with PV Tech on the global launch of its ‘AGILE’ (1P) single-axis (dual-row) tracker system, which brings together the latest developments in tracker design, components and software solutions.
DNV will also be presenting on the key requirements to ensure the bankability of the new generation of tracker systems.
