Carlos Hernández Energy Storage Regional Segment Leader for South Europe, Middle East, Latam and Africa @ DNVG
Carlos started his career in R&D and technical positions at Exide Technologies during 6 years, leading several innovation projects, managing the technical department of the NiCd business and coordinating production processes activities for the lead acid division. Later on, Carlos worked for 16 years in Benning, a German multinational company leader in the design and production of power electronics (rectifiers/chargers, inverters, UPS, converters, traction lithium batteries…) for different applications. At Benning, he was the Managing Director for Iberia and South America, focused mainly in the Business Development of the assigned markets, PM in relevant projects and internal advisory in battery technology.

Luciano Silva BESS Product & Engineering Manager, LAC @ Trina StorageG
Luciano is an electrical engineer specializing in battery systems with a background in utility-scale energy storage project development and electromobility. He has also been involved in energy markets consultancy and government, working in storage-related regulations. Today he is the technical lead for vertically-integrated battery manufacturer TrinaStorage, with over 1 GWh in awarded storage projects in Chile.
