About this event
What is Phishing, Smishing, and Quishing?
Phishing, smishing, and quishing are all forms of cyber fraud aimed at deceiving individuals into revealing sensitive information. Phishing typically occurs through deceptive emails that appear to come from legitimate sources, tricking users into clicking malicious links or providing personal data.
Smishing, a variant of phishing, uses SMS text messages to lure victims into similar traps, often directing them to fake websites or prompting them to disclose confidential information.
Quishing, a newer term, combines QR codes with phishing tactics; attackers create fraudulent QR codes that, when scanned, lead to harmful sites or download malware. All three methods exploit human trust, making awareness and caution essential in protecting personal information.
In this webinar, we will discuss what you can do as a business / organisation to protect yourself.
