Part 1 with James Beswick - Save time and money with AWS Lambda using asynchronous programming

James will walk us through a refactor of asnyc code and explain how to transform it from time-wasting to time-saving. Throughout the process, he’ll show off techniques for designing function-logic such as creating flowcharts to visualize execution and tests to verify the results of changes. In Part 2 of this talk, James discussed “gotchas!” to look out for when utilizing async code. We took a look at building a voting application that could scale to millions of votes without breaking a sweat, rolling back serverless apps, and generally just had a good time.
