Stackery invites you to its webinar

Serverless Application Patterns With Jeremy Daly

About this webinar

Serverless gives us the power to focus on just the code and our data without worrying about the maintenance and configuration of the underlying compute resources. Cloud providers (like AWS), also give us a huge number of managed services that we can stitch together to create incredibly powerful, and massively scalable serverless microservices.

... Great, but what do you actually build? In this livestream we’ll look at all 19 serverless architectural patterns in detail so that you can use them as templates to start designing your own serverless microservices.

In this post, Jeremy covers 19 common patterns to get development teams started when implementing applications on AWS serverless. On this livestream, we'll talk about these patterns with Jeremy and how to use these templates on your next serverless project.

About Jeremy Daly

Jeremy is the CTO of AlertMe, a startup based in NYC that uses machine learning and natural language processing to help publishers better connect with their readers. He began building cloud-based applications with AWS in 2009, but after discovering Lambda, became a passionate advocate for FaaS and managed services. He now writes extensively about serverless on his blog jeremydaly.com, and publishes Off-by-none, a weekly newsletter that focuses on all things serverless.

As an active member of the serverless community, Jeremy contributes to a number of open source serverless projects, and has created several others, including Lambda API, Serverless MySQL, and Lambda Warmer. He is a frequent guest on serverless podcasts and webinars, and a co-organizer of ServerlessDays Boston.

Jeremy has a soft spot for helping people solve problems using serverless, and frequently works with companies and individuals transitioning away from the traditional “server-full” approach. You can find him chatting about serverless on Twitter, in several forums and Slack groups, the Serverless Chats podcast, and at upcoming conferences around the world.

About the Stackery Weekly Livestream

The Stackery weekly livestream is designed to educate and inspire developers of all skill levels on how to be successful innovating on the growing menu of serverless offerings. Roughly every other week we bring on people from across the community to tackle modern application development and then on the opposite weeks we demonstrate how Stackery makes the serverless developer experience awesome. By signing up for our livestream, you'll receive attendance reminders for this event. Check out upcoming events or browse our library of past livestreams.
