With Naviates Extrude and 3D Measure, you can easily create 3D objects in your drawing

3D Measure can place any block (2D, 3D or Multiview) along a path. It now also supports Note Labels for easy annotation. Extrude can create solids from any profile, along paths, and the solids can easily be copied to multiple paths. These functions also allows you to add Property Data to the objects which can be used to quantity takeoff. Both commands now support templates so you can predefine your objects and share the templates with co-workers.
